"Change comes from the heart" is a brief exploration on the difficulty of and resistance to embracing personal change. This bite-sized bedroom pop song clocks in at a runtime of less than 2minutes, but in that short time it manages to present a rational model for embracing change before it ultimately questions the nature of its own wisdom. Written and recorded by Mon Nobi himself using just an iPad (and some live instruments), this song uses meditative lyrics, groovy synth melodies, a tambourine-driven rhythm, and a soulful, beatboxed outro to encourage listeners to think more deeply about how they've changed and where that motivation to change comes from.
